  My Passion

My entrepreneurial journey began from a deeply personal struggle that spanned over four decades. I battled with internal and external allergies that severely impacted my quality of life and overall health. The symptoms of Atopic Dermatitis I experienced were not just skin deep. I suffered not only from immense pain, inflammation, painful lesions, and incessant itching, but also emotional turmoil including;  embarrassment, social fear, isolation, anxiety, and depression. 

 

Living with Atopic Dermatitis means struggling to function in society. I have tried existing medications and they all failed to tackle the root cause of my atopic dermatitis disease.  Inadequate treatments led to severe side effects and additional health complications; including a compromised immune system, making me more susceptible to viruses, with longer recovery times, hospital treatments when home care did not work effectively, anaphylaxis, stomach  ulcers from steroid use, thin skin from topical steroid use, bacterial infections, additional allergic reactions to drug trials, eye conjunctivitis/eye irritations infection and diseases, intestinal IBS, kidney complications, cardiovascular problems / high blood pressure from immunosuppressants, immunity to antibiotics from continued antibiotic prescriptions and so on from all from doctors just guessing on how to treat the disease, making my quest for a cure not just a personal mission but a necessity.  

 

Fueled by determination and inspired by my own struggles and the desire to help others facing similar challenges, I founded Bio-Hybrid Therapeutics. I started out developing a line of over the counter products to treat symptoms of atopic dermatitis and skin allergies. My motivation was clear: to develop biologic drugs that go beyond merely alleviating symptoms, aiming instead to address the root causes of allergic diseases like Atopic Dermatitis.
